Ahmed Musa Opens Up : Why I Chose CSKA Moscow Ahead Of Las Palmas
Published: February 03, 2018Ahmed Musa has revealed why he chose to join CSKA Moscow in the January transfer window amid speculation linking him with a move to La Liga strugglers Las Palmas.
Having previously spent four years at CSKA, the Nigeria international explained that he felt at home at the Muscovites, hence his decision to return to the club without a second thought.
''There was no such dilemma in front of me. I immediately and irrevocably decided in favor of CSKA. This is my club, my house,'' Musa told Championat.com.
''Here I know everything, and everyone knows me. Going to some other club for six months on loan would be crazy, absolutely crazy idea.
''There I would have to start from scratch, but here everything would be perfect.''
Musa needed only 33 minutes to score on his second debut for CSKA as they were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Nordsjaelland in a friendly on Friday evening.
