Super Eagles Star Ndidi Makes List Of Top 100 U21 Players In The World
Published: December 29, 2017Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been recognized yet again after he was named in In Bed With Maradona’s annual list of top 100 U21 players in the world.
The website identified players born on or after January 1, 1996 that have been tipped to shine over the next twelve months.
Some eye-catching names on the list include Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur trio Davinson Sánchez, Dele Alli and Harry Winks, Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappé, Manchester City's Leroy Sane and CSKA Moscow sensation Aleksandr Golovin.
Ndidi clocked in at number 65 in Sky Sports's Top 100 players of 2017; he is also the Most Valuable U21 player in the whole of Africa.
The defensive midfielder has impressed since his move to Leicester City at the beginning of this year, shoring up their midfield after N'Golo Kante was sold to Chelsea.
The former Racing Genk star was clearly one of the best players as Nigeria qualified for their sixth World Cup in October.
