Published: December 16, 2017Vancouver Whitecaps striker Teni Akindoju has been called up to a training camp by the Canadian Soccer Association ahead of January's CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in Trinidad and Tobago.
Born in Lagos to Nigerian parents 16 years ago, Akindoju moved to Canada along with her parents when she was two months old.
She was 12 when she earned her first call-up to Canada's U15 national team and has played internationally for the U17 squad.
