According to Sportmediaset, making reference to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, technical secretary of Barcelona Robert Fernandez and one of his scouts closely followed the match at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
And it is being suggested that Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto, wearing the number 18 jersey for Lazio, was the main attraction.
Joel Obi has thrived for Torino in the current season, having been directly involved in five goals (3 goals, 2 assists) in ten appearances across all competitions.
The Nigeria international played well following his introduction for the last fifteen minutes against the Biancocelesti.
He is contracted to Torino until the summer of 2019.
