Super Eagles Striker Named In CSKA Squad To Face Manchester United
Published: December 03, 2017Aaron Samuel flew to England on Sunday morning along with 16 CSKA Moscow players ahead of their Champions League game against Manchester United on Tuesday night, starting from 2045 hours.
The Super Eagles striker will compete for one of the attacking spots with Vitinho, Timur Zhamaletdinov, and Fedor Chalov, who were all on the plane to Manchester.
Samuel was not in CSKA Moscow 18-man squad in their 4-1 loss to the English outfit back in September but has been named on the bench in each of the last three games played by the Muscovites in the Champions League.
The 23-year-old last featured for the Army Men in their opening day fixture against Benfica when he lasted 67 minutes on the pitch.
CSKA Moscow have nine points in Group A, three less than table toppers Manchester United.
