Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs Scouts In Attendance As Kasumu Shines For MK Dons
Published: November 16, 2017Top Premier League clubs sent their representatives to watch the second round of the FA Youth Cup clash between MK Dons and Barnet at The Hive on Wednesday, November 15.
According to the Mirror, Manchester rivals United and City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Leicester all had scouts in the crowd .
It has been reported that the scouts came to run the rule over MK Dons teenage goal machine Dylan Asonganyi , however, two players with Nigerian blood flowing in their veins, Benjamin Okechukwu Aghadiuno (Barnet) and David Kasumu (MK Dons) started for their respective teams.
The 18-year-old Kasumu has appeared twice for the first team of MK Dons since his debut against Newport County in August 2016, while Aghadiuno, 17 has played two games for the first team of the Bees this season.
Greg Adinna gave the Young Bees a perfect start when he converted a spot kick in the 12 minute, but MK Dons secured a win thanks to a brace from Asonganyi and Tommy Hope's first-half strike.
England star Dele Alli was on the books of MK Dons for eight years before he was snapped up by Tottenham Hotspur in 2015.
