World's Top 100 Teenagers : Ejaria, Tomori & Bonaventure Make List
Published: November 15, 2017Three players of Nigerian descent have been included in Four Four Two's prestigious list of 100 Best Teenagers in the World 2017.
Former Nigeria schoolboy international Dennis Bonaventure was ranked at number 27 by the influential British football magazine.
After making a blistering start to his career at Club Brugge which saw him score 8 goals in his first 11 matches in all competitions, a ligament injury may have slowed down his progress in recent weeks.
On the highlight so far, Four Four Two wrote : ''Five minutes into his Brugge bow, Bonaventure cut inside his man and rifled the ball into the bottom corner to give the Belgians a flying start to their Champions League qualifier against Istanbul Basaksehir.''
The Abuja Academy product has been scouted by Manchester City, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Monaco this season, with a view to a swoop in the near future.
Bonaventure was ahead of former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria (no 70) and Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori (no. 74) in the ranking.
AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was ranked the top teenager in the world, followed by PSG starlet Kylian Mbappe.
