(Photo Confirmation) Versatile Midfielder Extends Contract With Liverpool
Published: September 22, 2017Through official channels, Liverpool have informed that Wales international Sophie Ingle, 26, has penned a new contract with Liverpool Ladies.
The versatile midfielder has been rewarded with a new deal, two years after joining Liverpool from Bristol Academy.
Ingle told the official website of Liverpool : ''I am thrilled to have agreed a new deal and can’t wait for our first game of the season. I have really enjoyed my time at Liverpool Ladies so far and have a big belief that we as a team can go on to win trophies.
''Our squad has massive potential so I am really excited for what the future brings at Liverpool Ladies.''
Sophie Ingle, who captains the Welsh national team, was voted Liverpool Ladies Players’ Player of the Year 2017 and named Wales Player of the Year 2016 last season.
She has also defended the colours of Chelsea and Cardiff City, and spent her formative years as a footballer at Vale Wanderers' girls and Dinas Powys Ladies.
