Juventus Win Race For Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea Linked PSG Star, Who Is 'Hated' In Nigeria
Published: August 16, 2017Serie A champions Juventus have won the race for the signature of the in-demand Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio writes on his website that the deal taking the France international to The Girlfriend of Italy is done and dusted, and only the official announcement is missing.
Juventus have agreed a 20 million euros transfer fee plus bonuses with PSG, and Matuidi is expected to undergo a medical on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old was on the agenda of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Blaise Matuidi is notorious in these parts because of his horrible tackle on Eddy Onazi that forced the Super Eagles midfielder to be substituted in the second round of the 2014 World Cup clash between France and Nigeria.
The game was tied at 0-0 before Nigeria conceded two late goals after Onazi had been substituted.
