Chelsea Announce They Have Loaned Out 18th Player This Summer To Brighton
Published: July 25, 2017Through official channels, both Chelsea and Premier League newcomers Brighton and Hove Albion have announced that Izzy Brown will spend the 2017-2018 campaign on loan at The Seagulls.
The England youth international has been loaned out by Chelsea for a third time after previous spells at Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town.
Brown helped Huddersfield Town secure promotion to the Premier League last season via the playoffs, scoring four goals after joining the club in the winter transfer market.
The 20-year-old had stops at Leicester City and West Brom before he was acquired by Chelsea in 2013.
Izzy Brown, who is the 18th player loaned out by Chelsea in this window, extended his contract until 2021 before his loan move to Brighton.
