'Huge Sigh Of Relief' For Victor Moses As Danilo Officially Joins Man City Not Chelsea
Published: July 23, 2017Subject to a work permit being granted, Manchester City have officially won the race for Real Madrid right wing-back Danilo Luiz da Silva, who was on Chelsea's summer transfer shopping list.
The Citizens have announced via their official webpage that the Brazil national-teamer has put pen to paper on a five-year deal that will keep him in Manchester until at least the end of the 2021-2022 season.
The total transfer fees City paid to Los Blancos for his services have not been disclosed but a fee of thirty million euros has been mooted.
Prior to joining Real Madrid, Danilo defended the colours of América-MG, Santos and Porto.
He would have challenged Super Eagles star Victor Moses for a first-team spot in Antonio Conte's squad if his transfer to Chelsea had materialized.
