Prolific English-Born Nigerian Striker To Earn N1.2 Billion Per Season In New Chelsea Deal
Published: June 30, 2017England U21 international of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham is set for a huge pay day when he renews his contract with Chelsea in the coming days.
The prolific striker will pocket 50,000 pounds per week (or N1.2 billion per season) in his new deal with Chelsea, double the figure he takes home at the moment.
Chelsea chiefs are delighted with the progress of Abraham and are set to loan him out for a second consecutive season, this time to a Premier League club, having scored goals aplenty for modest Championship outfit Bristol City last term.
The 19-year-old has been linked with Swansea City, Newcastle United, Brighton and Celtic in recent weeks, but prefers a move to the Liberty Stadium, where he'll link up with ex-Chelsea assistant coach Paul Clement.
He was recently in the media spotlight after scoring in the semifinal of the European U21 Championship against Germany.
