Official : Hearts Terminate The Contract Of Super Eagles Defender By Mutual Consent
Published: June 28, 2017Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian have terminated the contract of Juwon Oshaniwa by mutual consent.
The left back joined Hearts in July 2015 and was in the final twelve months of his contract before he was released.
Hearts wanted to get the Nigeria international off their wage bill due to his lack of first-team opportunities during the 2016-17 campaign.
In his debut year in Scotland, Oshaniwa, 26, appeared 25 times for the Jambos in all competitions without finding the back of the net.
He previously played for Kwara United, Lobi Stars, Sharks and Ashdod.
