Crystal Palace Challenge West Ham For Signature Of Africa's Most Promising Talent
Published: June 12, 2017According to the Mirror, Crystal Palace have joined the race for the signature of Africa's Most Promising Talent, Kelechi Iheanacho.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has declared the Nigeria international surplus to requirements ahead of the start of pre-season training, and is willing to allow him depart the Etihad if their asking price is met.
West Ham, Swansea City and Everton are also hoping to strengthen their attack with the acquisition of Iheanacho.
The Nigeria wonderkid's departure from the Citizens is somehow complicated, as they are insisting on a buy-back clause and he wants to stay and fight for his place.
The 20-year-old Iheanacho started Nigeria's 2-0 loss to South Africa in an AFCON qualifier this past weekend.
