Official : Pacy Winger Offered New Leicester City Deal, Four Nigerian Young Stars Retained
Published: June 10, 2017England youth international of Nigerian descent Layton Ndukwu has been rewarded for the progress he has made over the last few seasons, with Premier League side Leicester City offering him a contract extension.
The tricky and pacy winger will be spending his tenth year at the King Power Stadium outfit in 2018 if he signs on the dotted line in the off season.
This past season, Ndukwu made the back pages in England after scoring a brilliant goal from inside his own half against Liverpool U23s.
The 18-year-old also displayed his skills in the UEFA Youth League, and scored a memorable brace against FC Copenhagen in the group stage.
Nigerian quartet Joshua Debayo, Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi and Calvin Ughelumba have been retained by the Foxes.
