FC Midtjylland Reveal Stephen Odey Will Go Straight Into First-Team Despite His Young Age
Published: May 03, 2017Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland have revealed that their Nigerian trialist Stephen Odey will go straight into their first team if he is offered a contract in the summer transfer window.
FCM have great experience of integrating and developing Nigerians in the club and it is because of their good reputation in Nigeria that they have had the chance to invite the Mountain of Fire hitman for tests.
''It's an exciting opportunity and we have to see what it ends with,'' said FCM sports director Claus Steinlein to bold.dk.
''In relation to his age, he is a player we are looking for to be able to go directly into the team and compete for a spot."
The 19-year-old Odey will be observed again next Monday when FCM reserve team face off against Silkeborg.
Dream Team VI striker Paul Onuachu and winger Rilwan Hassan currently represented the first team of the Wolves.
