Porto Starlet Awaziem, Watford Loanee Agbo Instructed To Report For International Duty
Published: May 01, 2017Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr will begin observing Porto central defender Chidozie Awaziem and Watford loanee Uche Agbo at close quarters when the national team begin their get-together in Corsica later this month.
Both youngsters have been included in a 19-man list of foreign-based professionals guaranteed to be called up by the Nigeria Football Federation to attend the training camp in France.
Agbo missed an opportunity to make his debut last month in London against Senegal because he was not issued his traveling document on time, while Awaziem watched proceedings from the bench.
William Troost-Ekong, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi are some of the players invited to the camp.
Nigeria will face Corsica in friendly later this month, two weeks before their first competitive fixture of 2017 against South Africa.
