Henry Onyekuru is back on the goal trail after scoring his first goal of 2017 in Eupen’s 1-0 win over Gent in a Belgian First Division clash at GHELAMCO-arena on Saturday.

With Celtic plotting a move for the exciting teenager in the January transfer window, the striker went AWOL to try and push through a move from Eupen before the close of the window.

The 19-year-old Onyekuru was allowed to return to the training ground on Friday, February 3, after apologizing to the club, coaches and teammates.

The game against Gent was heading for a draw until Onyekuru stepped up to score the winner in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
