Three Nigerian Stars In Line To Feature In Big Game Between City & Chelsea; Mikel Still In The Cold
Published: December 03, 2016Three players of Nigerian descent could be handed game time on Saturday afternoon when Manchester City host Premier League leaders Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.
The Blues manager Antonio Conte has named Super Eagles striker Victor Moses in the starting XI for the eighth consecutive game.
However, John Obi Mikel remains frozen out of the squad and didn’t make the 18-man squad, but England youth international Ola Aina has been named among the substitutes for the first time since November 5 when he was an unused sub versus Everton.
As for Manchester City, Kelechi Iheanacho is on the bench for the third game in a row in the English top-flight while Tosin Adarabioyo has not been selected by coach Pep Guardiola.
Kickoff at the City of Manchester Stadium is 1330 hours.
