Algerian-Nigerian Midfielder Ejenavi Predicts : Algeria 2 Nigeria 1
Published: November 07, 2016Algerian-Nigerian midfielder Nabil Ejenavi has tipped the Desert Foxes to get their World Cup qualifying campaign back on track with a win against Nigeria in Uyo.
The 22-year-old was born to an Algerian mom and a Nigerian father from Warri, and has played two games for the U23 team of Algeria.
“I think my father will go for Nigeria but I’m all for Algeria. My prediction, a 2-1 to the Green, ” Ejenavi told dzfoot.com.
When asked to clarify which country will carry the day since the Nigerian and Algerian flags have shades of Green, he replied : “ Ours, Algerians. ”
Before their trip to Nigeria later this week, the Algerian squad trained for the first time on Sunday at National Technical Centre Sidi Moussa.
