Ighalo Warns Watford Algerian Teammate Guedioura : You Are Coming To The Lions Den
Published: November 03, 2016
Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has given the lowdown on his Watford teammate Adlène Guedioura ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Algeria and also highlighted the qualities of the midfielder.
Ighalo and Guedioura will put their friendship to one side for at least one and a half hours when the Super Eagles clash with the Desert Foxes at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium on November 12.
“His strength : he is strong and can shoot from any range and he is technically okay,” said Odion Ighalo to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We always talk about the game, he told me it will be strange playing against me in Nigeria and he hopes to beat me.
“I told him we are going to win because they are coming to the lions den.”
A third Watford player, Isaac Success, would have been involved in the game between the Super Eagles and Algeria but was omitted from the roster because of injury.
