Mikel, Iheanacho, Iwobi, Mohammed, Moses, 19 Others Called Up As Nigeria Name Squad
Published: October 29, 2016The Nigeria Football Federation have announced the list of players summoned for the World Cup qualifying match with Algeria in Uyo on November 12.
An analysis of the roster revealed that Super Eagles coach Rohr has called up three goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders and seven strikers for the match day two fixture at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium.
ADO Den Haag right fullback Tyronne Ebuehi could make his international debut for Nigeria, as he has made the squad list for the first time in his career, though he was born in Holland.
Premier League stars John Obi Mikel (Chelsea), Kelechi Iheanacho (Man City), Victor Moses (Chelsea), Alex Iwobi(Arsenal), Odion Ighalo (Watford) and Ahmed Musa (Leicester City) have all been selected.
Other invited players include Belgian-based trio Kingsley Madu, Moses Simon and Wilfred Ndidi.
