Iheanacho Praises Man Utd Players, Mourinho Ahead Of Showdown At Old Trafford
Published: October 26, 2016Kelechi Iheanacho has admitted that Manchester City must fight if they are to beat Manchester United in Wednesday night’s League Cup tie at Old Trafford.
While the Nigeria international praised manager Jose Mourinho and his players , he has cautioned his teammates to avoid making mistakes or they could be knocked out of the competition.
“It’s going to a very tough one this time, so we need to fight really hard to get the win there. If you lose there you are out of the Cup, we need to fight, ” said Iheanacho to mancity.com.
The number 72 added : “They have great players, good squad, good manager, so they have everything. As I said before it is a football game they can win they can lose, and we can win , we can lose.
“Nobody knows what is going to happen. Just to put your head straight and keep going. ”
Iheanacho bagged a goal and assist when the Citizens shocked their city rivals at home in the Premier League last month.
