Rundown of how players of Nigerian descent fared in the fourth round of the League Cup on Tuesday night.

Super Eagles attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi got more game time for Arsenal in their routine 2-0 win over Reading at the Emirates Stadium. The number seventeen played the full game.

At Ashton Gate Stadium , EFL Young Player of the Month Tammy Abraham was introduced in the 60th minute in Bristol City’s 2-1 loss to Moses Odubajo’s Hull City.

The England U20 international scored in the three previous rounds prior to the meeting against the Tigers. Odubajo is still in the treatment room until next year.

Maguire and Dawson netted for the visitors and Tomlin reduced the deficit in the third minute of stoppage time.
