Chelsea Talent Abraham Follows In The Footsteps Of Victor Moses, Odubajo, Named EFL Young Player Of The Month
Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has been named the Football League Young Player of the Month, an award reserved for exciting talents under-21 or turn 21 during the current season.

The 19-year-old has been rewarded for his excellent start to the season after netting 11 goals for Bristol City and bagging a brace on his full debut for England U21s.

Abraham becomes the fifth player of Nigerian descent to win the prestigious accolade, following in the footsteps of Victor Moses (ex-Crystal Palace), Moses Odubajo (ex-Leyton Orient), Dele Alli (ex-MK Dons) and Wolverhampton Wanderers stopper Dominic Iorfa.

Super Eagles star Moses was the first winner of the award in December 2009, Odubajo was recognized in April 2014, while Dele and Iorfa won the accolade in August 2014 and January 2015.

Tammy Abraham has already won Player of the Month awards from Match of the Day Magazine and The PFA.
