Exclusive : Kalmar Open Talks With NUFC Free Kick Expert Igbinoba Over Transfer
Published: October 18, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Swedish Allsvenskan club Kalmar have set the wheels in motion to sign one of the top stars in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Nasarawa United midfielder Eseosa Igbinoba.
Kalmar sporting director Thomas Andersson-Borstam has opened a line of communication with the bonafide intermediary handling the affairs of Igbinoba, with a view to a transfer in the winter transfer market.
This summer, the 22-year-old had attracted interest from an unnamed top-flight team in Morocco plus Turkish First League club Sanliurfaspor, but chose to finish the season with Nasarawa United.
Eseosa Igbinoba had spells with Bendel Insurance and Lobi Stars before he was acquired by Nasarawa United two years ago.
The free kick expert can play either in defensive or attacking midfield and scores a lot of goals from that position.
