Why Leicester City Star Musa Missed The Last Two Premier League Games
Published: October 05, 2016Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has explained why Ahmed Musa was not in action in the last two Premier League games.
The Italian manager, who led the Foxes to their first Premier League title last term, opined that the Nigeria star has to get used to the rigours of English football before he retains his place in the starting XI.
“He is working very well, but he is adapting now,” Ranieri was quoted as saying by Leicester Mercury on Tuesday.
“When I watch him in the training sessions, he now understands... it is tough, but I had to choose.
“But I think sooner or later, he will come back and he will play.”
Of a possible 11 matches in all competitions, including the Community Shield, the Super Eagles assistant captain has started two.
