Madrid-Born Goalkeeper Nosa, Three Nigerian Talents Make Burnley Premier League Roster
Published: September 02, 2016English Premier League newcomers Burnley included four players of Nigerian descent in their roster sent to the Premier League on Thursday, September 1.
Goalkeeper Nosakhare Tony Aghayere, defenders Olatunde Bayode and Aderibigbe Olomowewe and Morakinyo Koiki could make their debuts in the English top-flight, having made the squad list submitted by The Clarets.
The four talents are all eligible to wear the jerseys of Nigeria if they invoke the grandfather rule, and Nosa who was born in Madrid can also represent Spain.
Aghayere, Bayode, Olomowewe and Morakinyo have been named to the roster as Under -21 players.
Burnley lost 3-0 to Chelsea in their last Premier League fixture before the international break, with Nigeria international Victor Moses getting his name on the scorecard for the Blues.
