Five Nigerian Players Named In Chelsea Squad For Premier League
Published: September 01, 2016Chelsea have submitted their squad list for the 2016-2017 campaign to the Premier League following the close of the summer transfer window on Wednesday night.
Five players of Nigerian descent, including two Super Eagles stars, were included in Antonio Conte’s roster.
John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses, Ola Aina, Fikayo Tomori and Dominic Solanke have been registered for the Premier League by the Blues.
Mikel will keep his number 12 jersey, Moses has been handed number 15, defender Aina will wear the number 34 shirt while the number 33 and 41 kits were given to Tomori and Solanke respectively.
England youth internationals Aina, Tomori and Solanke were registered as Under-21 players.
