Chelsea Winger Victor Moses Equals Goalscoring Run For The Fourth Time
For the fourth time in his Chelsea career, Nigeria international Victor Moses has scored in back to back games following his 89th minute goal against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The 25-year-old first scored in consecutive matches for the Blues during the 2012-2013 campaign when he found the back of the net against Swansea City in the Premier League on November 3 before scoring again four days later against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.

Five months later, Moses equaled his goalscoring run, netting in the home and away legs of the Europa League clash against Rubin Kazan in April 2013, before matching the record barely three weeks later in the semi-finals against Basel.

To put it another way, the winger netted in four consecutive games in the Europa League that season and, perhaps, he would have surpassed that record if he was not benched in the showpiece game against Benfica.

The first time Victor Moses netted in consecutive matches was back in the 2009-2010 season while defending the colours of Crystal Palace, when he scored against Barnsley and Ipswich Town in December 2009.

If he were to register his name on the scoresheet against Swansea City in the next league game, he will set a new record of goals in consecutive matches.

The former England youth international never scored in consecutive matches at Wigan Athletic, Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham.
