Nigeria Skipper Mikel Admits He Has Little Information About Sweden Team
Published: August 07, 2016Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has admitted that he has little information about Nigeria’s next opponents at the Olympic Games, Sweden.
The Nigeria football delegation was settling into Manaus at around the same time the Scandinavians were facing Colombia in both countries opening Group B fixture.
“The truth is that I have not watched the Sweden game yet but I hope we do it today, ” Mikel told reporters on Saturday, according to globoesporte.globo.com
“We want to get good information because we do not know much about their game
“What I can say is the whole team that goes to the Olympics want to win. That’s what I know, and I think that says a lot already.”
In his first-ever appearance at the Olympic Games, Mikel was in action for 87 minutes before making way for Popoola Saliu.
