One Of Football Good Guys Aluko Pleased To Debut For Fulham
Published: August 06, 2016Nigeria international Sone Aluko was delighted to make his competitive debut for Fulham in their impressive 1-0 win over one of the favorites for the Championship title, Newcastle United, on Friday night.
The 27-year-old, who joined Fulham on a two-year deal this summer, went the distance at Craven Cottage.
“That performance tonight is exactly why I’ve been saying all week in interviews we’re a quietly confident team. Beat a very good team there, ” Aluko tweeted.
“Good start to a long season so nothing to get carried away with but 100% a confidence building result. Atmosphere was electric! Loved that.”
The North East reporter for Sky Sports, Keith Downie, has called the Super Eagle one of football’s good guys!
Nigerian youngster Adetayo Edun made Fulham’s bench for the game with Newcastle United but was an unused substitute.
