Official : Super Eagles Star Victor Obinna Joins Seventh Club In Europe
Published: August 05, 2016With a statement published on their official webpage, German Bundesliga club SV Darmstadt 98 have informed that they have captured the signature of Victor Obinna following a successful trial.
The Lilies are Obinna’s seventh club since he started playing in Europe, having previously worn the colours of Chievo Verona, Inter Milan, Malaga, West Ham, Lokomotiv Moscow and MSV Duisburg, where he spent last season.
In his first words after penning the contract, the Nigeria international said : “It was always my desire to play in the Bundesliga, and is why I am very happy that I get this chance now.
“ I hope that I can contribute with my performance and that the team will be successful. ”
The 29-year-old Obinna represented local clubs Plateau United and Enyimba prior to his move to Europe in July 2005.
