Exclusive: Nigeria U23s Players Dressed Up In Hotel Rooms Waiting For The Bell To Ring

For the fifth day running, the national team did not fly out to northern Brazil on Tuesday, with the Sports Ministry and Nigerian Federation yet to source for funds to pay for their plane tickets or charter a plane.
At this very moment 1408 hours Nigerian time, which is 0908 hours in Atlanta, the players are “holed up”in their hotel rooms, but are aware that they can take off at any time.
Gent loanee William Troost-Ekong is already in Manaus awaiting the arrival of his international teammates.
