Exciting Winger Sheyi Ojo Will Not Be Sold This Summer By Liverpool
Published: July 31, 2016Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has revealed that the exciting teenage winger Sheyi Ojo is unlikely to be farmed out on loan in the forthcoming season.
The Hemel Hempstead-born Ojo enjoyed loan spells at Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent seasons to enable him get used to the rigours of professional football, but has a future at Liverpool next term, the German manager has stated.
“We have to see. He’s a wonderful player for sure and his future is 100 per cent at Liverpool,” Klopp said to the official website of Liverpool.
“I don’t think we have to make a decision so early, we have time and we have to use the time. ”
Klopp continued : “He has already had a few injuries, not the biggest but in the wrong place I would say. We have to be cool and train to make the boys as fit as possible.
“Ojo has been with us for five days or something, he came directly from the U19 tournament. We will see but his future is at Liverpool. ”
Sheyi Ojo began his career at the youth team of Milton Keynes Dons before he was snapped up by Liverpool in November 2011.
