Ex-Reading Youth Teamer Gozie Ugwu Joins Woking
Published: July 17, 2016Woking have bolstered their offensive ranks with the capture of the signature of Gozie Ugwu, 23, for the 2016-2017 season.
The attacker spent last season at Wycombe Wanderers and scored twice in 29 appearances for the club.
Born in Oxford, Ugwu began his career at Reading and rose through the ranks before he was offered a professional contract in 2011.
Due to his lack of first team chances at the Royals, he spent time on loan at Ebbsfleet United ,Yeovil Town, Plymouth Argyle and Shrewsbury Town.
He has also worn the jersey of Scottish club Dunfermline Athletic, where he impressed, playing 14 games and scoring on seven occasions.
