Obanor Fails To Arrive Nigeria U23s Camp In Atlanta Due To Coup Attempt In Turkey

The defender was due to fly to the United States via Istanbul but had to change his itinerary at the last minute due to the political uprising in Turkey.
As a result of the coup attempt in Turkey, the airport in Istanbul had been closed to inbound and outbound flights.
Another route through Paris was quickly booked for Obanor so he can join the Dream Team early on Sunday morning local time.
The former Mountain of Fire stopper is currently in Paris Airport waiting to board a plane.
