World Exclusive : Fred Friday Signs Four-Year Deal With AZ Alkmaar ; Handed No 27 Shirt

Having passed a medical examination on Friday morning, the former Dream Team VI trainee ended his association with Norwegian Tippeligaen club Lillestrøm SK by penning a four-year deal with the Dutch Eredivisie side.
Top Nigerian scout Udia Attai, better known as agent Atta Aneke’s right hand man in Nigeria, extensively scouted Friday before he was recommended to undergo trials at LSK in 2013 and the rest as they say is history.
For the forthcoming season, Fred Friday will play with the number 27 jersey at AZ Alkmaar.
The 21-year-old will have his first training session with the Cheeseheads on Tuesday, July 19.
It is understood that Lillestrøm will pocket a minimum of one million euros for agreeing to sell the Nigerian to the Dutch club.
