Werder Bremen Confirm Ujah Is Joining Chinese Club, Liaoning Whowin
Published: July 05, 2016With a statement on their official website, Bundesliga club Werder Bremen have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Chinese Super League team Liaoning Whowin F.C over the transfer of Anthony Ujah.
Though Werder are keeping sealed lips on the transfer fee, it is being mooted that the Nigeria national-teamer will cost about 10.5 million euros.
Ujah will leave for China in the coming days for a medical examination before he is unveiled by Liaoning Whowin.
The 25-year-old assisted Werder Bremen escape relegation in the 2015-2016 season, scoring 11 goals in the topflight.
He previously represented Lillestrom, Mainz 05, Cologne and Warri Wolves in his homeland before joining Werder Bremen.
