Exclusive : Southampton Are NOT The EPL Club That Made A Bid For Leicester Target Musa
Published: June 28, 2016Reports suggesting that English Premier League club Southampton have made a bid in the region of £20 million to secure the signature of CSKA Moscow star Ahmed Musa in the summer transfer window are wide of the mark.
It was earlier reported by this website that a top club in England had made a bid for the Leicester City target, but a hundred percent confirmed that the offer did not come from the Saints.
“I won’t be able to reveal the identity of the Premier League club, ” a top source close to Ahmed Musa told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“A bid was made, however, I can confirm that Southampton are NOT the club that made the bid for Musa.”
Southampton are thought to be in the market for a striker following the imminent departure of Senegal star Sadio Mané to Liverpool.
