Exclusive : Lillestrom Trials For Ex-Flying Eagles Star Ifeanyi Mathew
Published: June 26, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Norwegian topflight team Lillestrom have set the wheels in motion to sign Ifeanyi Mathew in the summer transfer market.
If the ex-Flying Eagles star receives green light from the Norwegian embassy in the coming days, he will head to Scandinavia, where he will undergo trials with the Canaries, with a view to signing a contract.
The 19-year-old Mathew will be hoping to join Innocent Bonke and Fred Friday on the books of Lillestrom but must impress manager Rúnar Kristinsson at training.
Representatives of Lillestrom ran the rule over Mathew in Senegal during the 2015 African U-20 Championship before he was recommended to the club.
