Official : Kazakhstan Champions FC Astana Release Lukman Haruna
Published: June 22, 2016Kazakhstan Premier League champions FC Astana have officially announced that they have parted company with Nigeria international Lukman Haruna, 25.
The attacking midfielder penned a short-term deal with Astana in April and they have decided not to offer him a permanent contract on the expiration of the agreement between the parties.
If Lukman Haruna does not sign a new deal with Ukrainian Premier League team Dynamo Kiev in the next eight days, he will leave the capital club as a free agent this summer.
The former Golden Eaglets star began his professional career with Monaco and had loan spells at Anzhi and Hoverla while at the Kievites after losing his spot in the first team.
Haruna made ten appearances for FC Astana in the 2016 season and was cautioned twice.
