Man City Striker Iheanacho Pays Tribute To Iconic Nigerian Coaches Keshi, Amodu
Published: June 13, 2016Manchester City rising star Kelechi Iheanacho has paid tribute to two famous Nigerian coaches Stephen Keshi and Amodu Shuaibu who passed away last week.
Former Super Eagles skipper Keshi died on Wednesday morning after complaining of irregular heartbeats and pain in his legs, while Amodu died in his sleep three days later after complaining of chest pains the previous night.
“We can never forget this Heroes ⚽️🙏 R.I.P, ” tweeted Kelechi Iheanacho.
Amodu Shuaibu was the Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation when Iheanacho netted in the two international friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg last month.
He was buried in his home town, Okpella, Edo State on Saturday according to Muslim rites.
