Mighty Jets Condole NFF, Nigerians On Amodu and Keshi
Published: June 12, 2016The management of Nigeria National League side, Mighty Jets FC of Jos is sympathizing with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, on the demise of its Technical Director, Amodu Shuaibu and former Super Eagles skipper and Coach, Stephen Keshi who both departed this world last week.
In a statement released by the Club and signed by its Director of Administration, Nasiru Rabiu, on behalf of the President, Chairman, the board, Management, officials and playing staff, the deaths were described as very unfortunate and sad moments for Nigerian football.
The statement also reads“We in Mighty Jets are deeply saddened by this development and are in mourning.
“We are aware that the Federation is in a very trying period and all we can do is to offer prayers for the Federation”.
Mighty Jets also prayed for the families of both Amodu Shuaibu and Stephen Keshi to have the fortitude to bear their losses as well as for the Almighty God to accept their souls.
While Shuaibu has since been buried according to Islamic rites Keshi’s body is still at the morgue of the Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin.
