Odemwingie Headlines List Of Players Released By Stoke City
Published: June 10, 2016Stoke City have announced that Peter Odemwingie has not been retained by the club following the conclusion of the 2015-2016 season.
The Potters stated on their official website that the Nigeria national-teamer will not be offered a new contract when the previous agreement between club and player runs out on June 30, 2016.
Odemwingie joined Stoke City from Cardiff City in January 2014 and was credited with 5 goals in 31 appearances during the two and a half years he spent at the the Bet365 Stadium.
The 34-year-old started off his professional career with hometown club Bendel Insurance, followed by spells with La Louvière, Lille, Lokomotiv Moscow and West Brom.
He was loaned out to Championship side Bristol City in March 2016.
