Olatunbosun Brace Gives Mountain of Fire Win Over Nasarawa
Published: June 09, 2016Two first half goals from Sikiru Olatunbosun gave Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos a convincing win over Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia in Match Day 20 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) tie played at the Agege Township Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Olatunbosun who put up a Man-Of-The-Match performance put MFM FC in front in the 18th minute of the encounter with a fine volley when he connected a swift pass from Stephen Odey.
The dazzling left-winger completed his brace with a low shot 10 minutes after the first goal off an assist from Akor.
The first 45 minutes of the game ended with MFM FC maintaining a comfortable 2-0 lead.
The 2-0 win has taken the Olukoya Boys who were placed on 9th spot on the table to the sixth position with 30 points from 19 league matches.
Next up is Port Harcourt where MFM FC will confront Rivers United FC who lost 1-2 in the reverse fixture at the Agege stadium, Lagos.
