Olatunbosun Wins MFM FC Player Of The Month Award
Published: April 30, 2016In-form Sikiru Olatunbosun has been named Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos Player of the Month for April, 2016.
The skillful left-winger gave a very good account of himself in the month under review with top-notch performances. Although he didn’t score a goal but his influence on the pitch of play earned him the honour.
Olatunbosun was picked by his teammates on Friday night after his team’s final training session at the Agege Township Stadium for the match against Akwa United, as player of the month ahead of teenage striker, Stephen Odey who has also been in fine form for the Lagos-based team.
Speaking after the award presentation, Olatubosun who also celebrated his birthday on Friday appreciated his teammates and thanked the club management.
“ I want to say a very big thank you to my teammates and our management led by Mr.Godwin Enakhena for this award. I’m so grateful to you all,” he told mountaintopfc.com.
The celebrant received his award from the clubs doctor and Medical Director of Elyon Hospital, Dr Olayemi Olumakinwa at the two in one event which was also used to celebrate the birthdays of four other members of the club; hardworking defensive midfielder, Shola Brossa, defender, Oshoke Babatunde, former Enugu Rangers forward, Seun Taro and the teams welfare officer, Christian Odega.
There was plenty to eat and drink alongside cakes for all present at the Agege Stadium. The avid fans of the club were not left out of the merriment.
