John Akinde Nets Stoppage-Time Penalty As Barnet Beat Luton Town
John Akinde netted a stoppage-time penalty to help Barnet beat Luton Town 2-1 in the Football League Two on Monday afternoon at the Hive Stadium.

The two teams were tied 1-1 until the referee awarded a penalty to the homers after Scott Cuthbert handled the ball in the 18-yard box.

The 26-year-old Akinde has netted 15 goals from 36 appearances in the fourth-tier so far this season, including a pair of goals against Northampton Town and Newport County.

Next up for Akinde and his Barnet teammates is a trip to the Globe Arena, where they face Morecambe on game week 40.

The Bees occupy the 15th position on the League Two table.
