Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos utility
midfielder, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi has said he’s expecting Kano Pillars
football club to put up a tough fight on Wednesday in Match Day 8 of the
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)
clash.
Third placed Sai Masu Gida will be the guest of the Olukoya Boys who are second on the NPFL table with two points above the Kano-based team this midweek at the Agege Stadium.
Fidelis Ilechukwu’s men suffered a 1-0 defeat to Heartland FC in Owerri on Sunday, their second defeat this season away from home.
The ex-Nigeria under 20 midfield maestro told MFM FC Media that he expects Kano Pillars to prove their mettle but opined that his side will be victorious at the end of 90 minutes.
“We expect Kano Pillars to give us a tough fight, we respect them but not scared of them, they will come to Lagos, they will play, they will give their best but at the end of the day we will come out victorious by the special grace of God.
“MFM FC has the quality to match Kano Pillars, they’ve got national team players in their squad, MFM too we have national team players, we are capable of pulling them down,” he said.
Ifeanyi believes MFM FC esteemed fans and supporters have a role to play for his team to be triumphant in tomorrow’s encounter, thus he concluded with a plea.
“To MFM FC fans, I want to plead with them to come all out and support us, I assure them by the special grace of God we will never put them to shame, we will make them proud”.
