Kelechi Iheanacho Named To Manchester City Champions League Roster
Published: February 01, 2016Kelechi Iheanacho is poised to get a taste of UEFA Champions League action when the competition resumes later this month, with Manchester City boss, Manuel Pellegrini, confirming that the Nigerian talent has been included in the roster.

Also, Ivory Coast star Wilfried Bony is battling to overcome a calf complaint and the Chilean manager thought it wise to name Iheanacho in his latest roster as Aguero was the only fit striker ahead of the last 16 clash with Dynamo Kiev.
“We needed another striker and Kelechi is in a good moment, ” Pellegrini told City’s official webpage.
“Kelechi is one player in our squad - it’s important when young players have the option to show why they’re an important player.
“He will continue trying to fight to start every game. For me, as a manager, you have to work with the whole squad as we have to play so many games.”
